Rockology for Minors
Join geologist, Martha Grantham, from the Natural Resources Education Centre to learn some of stories rocks can tell us: http://novascotia.ca/natr/Education/NREC/
Discover the kinds of rocks near where you live, and what they can be used for. Do you know that we eat rocks nearly every day?! We will go on a rock walk and try some neat rockhounding activities. Be prepared to rock … and perhaps mineral and fossil, too!
Please meet at 1 p.m. at the Natural Resources Education Center (attached to the Elementary School), 12014 Hwy 224 Middle Musquodoboit.
