Description
Join us as we welcome Miranda Dodd, interpreter at the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, as we learn about our local trees.
If you aren’t used to identifying trees they can all look pretty much the same but when we look a little closer we find that there are great differences in leaves, bark and other things that can help us tell them apart. We have a number of special trees in the forests of Cape Breton. After an exploration of the Chéticamp campground let’s see if we can identify the trees elsewhere on the island.
We will gather at the playground beside the Visitor Information Centre in Cheticamp.
