Description
On Saturday November 23rd, the Nature Guardians will be collecting native seed-stock in Shubie Park for use in next year’s restoration works. We will learn about plant biology and seed production, how we ID plants in the fall, how we collect seeds, and how we prepare seeds for planting. Have a garden at home? Take some extra milkweed and wildflower seeds back with you! We will meet at the Fairbanks Centre as usual at 2pm, remember to bring a snack, some water, and weather appropriate layers!
