On Dec 21st, the Nature Guardians again participated in the exciting Christmas Bird Count for Kids, a great citizen science project delivered by Birds Canada and that helps researchers track bird populations in Nova Scotia (and beyond!) Our Nature Guardians and their parent-guests saw a total of 15 unique species and 175 birds! We shared our findings with Birds Canada and via ebird to the Shubie Park hotspot, so everybody can see our young scientists contributions!
