Last weekend, our East Hants Chapter joined Ducks Unlimited Canada staff at the pond behind the Wetland Centre inside Shubenacadie Provincial Wildlife Park for some “critter dipping!” We used nets and white-bottomed buckets to look at samples of aquatic invertebrates, fish, and other wetland critters, then we drew our findings using coloured pencils. Staff collected our artwork to use in new signage the pond is getting next year, making us official biological artists!
