How to Support the YNC!

There are a few ways you can support the Young Naturalists Club

Make a Donation:

You can contribute to our Regular Programming Fund through CanadaHelps.

  • Just one $5 donation makes you a Chickadee-level sponsor and gets you one of our nature-themed cards in the mail during holiday-season.
  • $50 makes you a Gray Jay sponsor, and gets you a whole pack of our youth-made art cards for your own card-writing needs!
  • $100 makes you a Great Blue Heron-level sponsor, gets you a pack of our art cards, and your name listed on our website (optional, we’re happy to thank anonymous sponsors as well!)

You can also donate to our Grow a Nature Nut Endowment Fund through CanadaHelps. Donations made to this fund go in and stay in, invested permanently. To find out more about our Endowment Fund, read our original announcement HERE!

Make a Purchase

You can purchase our Mushroom, Lichen, and other field guides, singles or packets of our Youth-made Nature Art Cards, or packs of our Species at Risk Trading Cards by visiting us at one of our market booths (check out our events in the side bar and watch our Facebook feed) or, for a special time over the winter holidays, ordering from our online store.

  • Nature Art Cards – $4 each, $10 for a pack of 3, or $20 for a pack of 6
  • Species at Risk Trading Cards – $1 each, $5 for a pack of 7 (assorted), or $20 for 26 (all species)
  • Lichens or Mushrooms of NS field guide – $10 each (or $15 including shipping during the holidays)
  • Kids Guide to Weird Plants – $10 each
