Stargazing at the library

Date/Time

Saturday, February 22, 2020
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Description

Join us to learn about the night sky.

While late summer is ideal for stargazing, the late sunsets can present a challenge for early-to-bed children. Earlier sunsets make the winter months a good time to bundle the children up and get to know the night sky.

Our friend Matt Parsons is going to share some of his stargazing knowledge and help us identify our first constellations.

For this event we will be outside for part of the time, so please dress weather appropriately, as well as inside the library for some crafts and star activities.
