On April 26th, 4 adult and 12 young members of our group gathered on the Sampson Trail that runs along the East River in New Glasgow.  This trail is well traveled on a daily bases and a great asset to out community.  We chose this as our site to participate in the Pictou County Go Clean Get Green community litter pick-up event, traveling from the Rotary Park site toward Duff Cemetery.

The weather actually co-operated and helped make it a great day to get together, casually sharing each others company while working together to clean up some of the debris left exposed after the winter….and enjoy the feeling of Spring’s long awaited arrival!

Go Clean Get Green sling bags, garbage bags and gloves were provided by Pictou County Solid Waste.
