Hey Nature Guardians!
Remember last year when we naturalized a section of the dog beach at Shubie Park!? This month, we’re headed to the new naturalization project at Merv Sullivan Park in Halifax to add some herbaceous species to their existing grasses and flowers. We’ll introduce some asters, milkweed, black-eyed susans, and more! Be prepared to get dirty!
We’ll meet at the base of Merv Sullivan, at the grassy (well, not for long!) corner of Kencrest and Newbery. Remember your warm layers, water, and snack. And bring your nature journal if you’d like to spend some time planning our National Geographic-supported ACPF publication.
