Description
I find the best tree planting times in Nova Scotia are early spring and early fall. If the weather cooperates, we’ll continue with our naturalization work and plant some native Acadian trees and shrubs at a site that needs them. If not, we’ll at least get a good hike in!
For our April Nature Guardians session, we’ll meet at the Southdale Community Garden on Rodney Rd (right across from the Apex Tires) and meet the awesome folks at Life House School House who maintain the space. Remember your warm and cool layers, water, comfy shoes, and a snack!
