HOPE for wildlife comes to Annapolis Valley

Our vist from HOPE was great! Thanks to women who presented, they were knowledgeable & the kids enjoyed their time. Thanks also to the animals and to all of the individuals who donated to make their visit possible and to contribute to the work that HOPE does for wildlife.  We had 38 children arrive to meet:

Clover the Turtle. Did you know that there are no tortoises in NS? & it is illegal to own a turtle.
Jezebel the Ferret. though not native to NS, this ferret was found in Halifax.
Cornelius the Snake. Cornelius is a corn snake, so named as their bellies look like corn gibblets & is also not a native, but found here & brought to HOPE.
